HM5 Studio Monitor Headphones

Finally, a pair of headphones that let me hear the original mix without any artificial bass boost. The honest sound reproduction is exactly what I needed for critical listening.

Swapped from my old pair and the difference is night and day—these don't hype up the bass, they just let the mix breathe exactly as it was recorded. The honesty of the sound is what sold me, perfect for checking my own tracks before I send them out.

I was worried these would be too flat for casual listening, but the way they reveal every detail in recordings without boosting any frequency is addictive. The coiled cable is a nice touch for studio work too.
